CONCIERTO OFDC – SHARI MASON
Teatro de la Ciudad Fernando Soler

Within the framework of the celebrations for the XLII Anniversary of the Fernando Soler Theater, this program of Soviet authors will be an authentic Russian vaccine against the lethargy and apathy of the pandemic.

Shostakovich and Tchaikovsky will be the musical agents of this healing mix: Festive Overture, by Dmitri Shostakovich, to immediately move on to one of the concerts that will mark 2021 in Coahuila: Concert for violin and orchestra, by P. I. Tchaikovsky; one of the most beautiful works for violin written in the West, and which will feature the stellar participation of Mtra. Shari Mason, violinist; the Concertino de Sinfónica Nacional, who will render the honors as the first guest of the year, marking the ambitious return of the OFDC to the national symphonic circuit, with the impact of a grand gala.

This concert will close with the monumental Symphony No. 4 by P. I. Tchaikovsky. One of the most ambitious works that a symphony orchestra of international scope can draw on.  Without a doubt, a great program that will be possible to enjoy not only in Coahuila, but throughout the world. All under the direction of Mtro. Natanael Espinoza, artistic director of the OFDC.
